K. Morgan Sauer, M.D.
Dr. Sauer is a physician and
assistant professor in the UAMS Department of Geriatrics.
Alzheimer's is a disease that had affected millions and for
decades has been poorly understood, both medically and
socially. Advancements in the treatment and care for people
with Alzheimer's have been made. It is important to understand
what Alzheimer's is and what can be done about it. This
presentation will include a general explanation as to what
Alzheimer's is, how it happens, and what is important in the
care of an Alzheimer's patient.

of Alzheimer’s Arkansas Programs and Services for the past 3 and a half years.
Memory is
not all in our head! The body plays an important role in all aspects of
learning. This workshop provides a synthesis of body movement,
nutrition, exercise, emotional expression, social and physical
environment that will endorse the need to combine these forces for
memory improvement. |
